  • City Advisory Board Positions Are Available Apply By April 22

Applications to serve on a citizen advisory board are accepted year-round, however now is a particularly good time to apply as mayoral appointments for citizen boards occur this month.

Use THIS LINK to view the citizen advisory board page on the City of Winter Park website. It offers options to view the application and descriptions of each board, as well as the current members of each board.

    • Mayor Phil Anderson will appoint three new members to each advisory board on April 28.
    • To be considered for a mayoral appointment, applications must be submitted by April 22. However, applying sooner rather than later is highly encouraged.
    • Each citizen board consists of seven members: three mayoral appointees and one appointed by each commissioner.
    • Board terms are three years; members cannot serve more than two terms on the same board.
    • All current advisory board members should re-submit their applications for re-appointment.
