    Registration Fee: $25

The State of the Chamber and the State of the Economy will be the focus of this year’s Winter Park Outlook, the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce’s annual regional-issues summit and our first significant in-person event since the COVID-19 pandemic.

We will share details about the steps being taken to enable Winter Park’s robust recovery during Outlook, 10 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. on Sept. 25 at The Alfond Inn.

In addition to featuring an update on Chamber activities and a brief presentation of the Winter Park COVID-19 Economic Analysis – a study underwritten by the Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation and conducted by The Balmoral Group – the event will update everyone on the progress of the Winter Park Economic Recovery Task Force. After the Economic Analysis put into perspective the effects of the pandemic on Winter Park’s economy and businesses, the Task Force went  to work on developing mitigation strategies for a robust recovery.

Speakers include Chamber President and CEO Betsy Gardner Eckbert and Valerie Seidel, President and Principal Economist of The Balmoral Group. Sam Stark, Vice President of Communications and External Relations at Rollins, will moderate.

We will take every safety precaution during the event. Outlook is traditionally a luncheon, but we have moved up the time to avoid food service. To allow for proper social distancing, tickets to the event will be limited. Masks will be required, and hand sanitizer will be abundantly available.

Please register soon as seating is limited to allow proper distancing. As an added bonus, everyone attending the event in person will receive a free 2020 Commemorative Autumn Art Festival Poster.

To allow for proper social distancing at The Alfond Inn, tickets to the event are limited.
