Rainy Day Guide to Winter Park

It’s been a rainy past few days in Winter Park, but that doesn't have to put a damper on your plans! There are plenty of ways to make the most of the weather, including several rain-or-shine activities right here on Park Avenue. From shopping to cozy cafes and everything in between, we’ve compiled the best ways to spend your rainy day in Winter Park.

    1.
    Shop Away the Storm

Avoiding the rain is a great excuse to spend a few hours shopping! Luckily, Park Avenue has enough stores to shop away even the most stubborn storm. Best of all, you’ll only be outside for a few minutes at a time as you hop from shop to shop! Start off your spree at Arabella and make your way down the Avenue to Rieker Shoes; by the time you’re done, you’ll have an entire outfit!

    2.
    Embrace Your Artistic Side

Rainy weather is perfect for spending hours in a museum! Fortunately, Winter Park has plenty of options. From the Morse Museum of American Art right on Park Avenue to the Cornell Fine Arts Museum at Rollins College, there’s something for every art junkie in Winter Park! 3. Get Cozy in a Cafe

If you happen to be out and about when the rain starts to fall, head to the nearest café or coffee shop and escape the downpour! Once you’ve warmed up with a hot drink and pastry of your choice, you can take advantage of the free Wi-Fi and wait it out until the storm passes. If you’re on Park Avenue, you can’t go wrong with New General, Barnie’s CoffeeKitchen, or Mon Petit Cheri Café.

As you can see, there are plenty of options to make the most of a little Winter Park rain. Did we leave out your favorite rainy day activity? Comment down below and share it with us – we’d love to hear from you!
