An unexpected business opportunity spurred a hardworking jewelry repairman to take over and grow what is now a 36-year staple in Winter Park. Beloved by many, Majestic Jewelers has been serving its loyal customers for over three decades from its modest store on Aloma Avenue with an impressive team of experts in the front and back of the house.

Danny Cirrincione worked for the previous owner as a jewelry repairman and maker, picking up pieces and taking them back to his garage to mend. One day the owner offered to sell the business to Danny, even financing the deal himself. “I paid him for seven years to buy the business. Back in the day it was just me and a barbershop up the street,” says Danny.

Aside from his talent and dedicated work ethic, Danny’s instinct for top-shelf customer service is a major reason why Majestic Jewelers has stayed in business for so long. “We never pressure customers, and I always encourage them to do their own research to make sure they’re comfortable with our products and prices,” says Danny. Building trust is the most important thing we do, and it’s what makes repeat customers, he says.  “I have many customers that have been with me since the beginning, and I have seen generations of families become customers.”

His wife, Kelly Cirrincione, who is an integral part of the family business says, “We have a motto around there that ‘We’re not here for one time but for a lifetime.’ Danny goes out of his way to make people happy.” The couple notes that they see people in the good times and the bad times, which was especially evident during the pandemic. Part of their business is buying gold from customers.

The business does all of its manufacturing in-house and employs laser and torch welders along with custom jewelry designers who will create the piece you want starting from a sketch, then crafting a wax model before creating the finished product in precious metals and gems. Diamond setting, jewelry repair, engraving, custom jewelry making, watch repair, estate pieces and new jewelry are all available. Majestic Jewelers also does a healthy business in creating employee incentive and anniversary pins and related items for companies that include Outback Steakhouse and Carrabba’s Italian Grill, to name a couple. 

As a relationship-based business, the entire team at Majestic is sensitive to every customer’s situation. Whether they’re coming in for resetting or jewelry repair, we know that people have attachments to sentimental pieces, says Danny. “We also make sure we offer something for everyone – from the 50% off estate case to 10-carat diamonds,” he says. “If I don’t have what they are looking for, we make sure we find it.” One of his most memorable customers was a 90-year-old woman who recently came in to get her ears pierced for the first time. Making customers happy and feel like family is what really drives Danny every day.
