More About Our Speaker
Jan Edwards is the Founder and President of Paving the Way Foundation. The foundation is committed to empowering communities to disrupt the cycle of child exploitation around the globe. This is accomplished through educational and training programs that break the cycle. Jan spent more than 25 years as an executive in sales and marketing, working with corporations and organizations such as Time Warner, Bright House Networks, the United Nations and other international groups, before taking on the worldwide initiative to prevent children from becoming victims of this silent crime. Paving the Way has educated more than 24,000 youth and adults over the past seven years around the nation. She has been featured in the Huffington Post, on NBC, and on iHeart Radio as an influencer on prevention education. Jan has been named one of Orlando Magazine's Women of The Year, United Abolitionist Polaris Star NGO Leader of the Year, and is the 2023 Victory Cup Initiative winner.
Jan is the writer, co-director and producer of the award-winning film, "Trapped in the Trade," which was featured on CNN.
