Forest Bathing with Julie at Mead Botanical Garden
Forest Bathing is inspired by the Japanese practice of ‘shinrin yoku’. Shinrin means forest and yoku means bath. It’s a process where we experience the forest (nature) through our sense. It’s also scientifically been proven that the trees release a chemical called phytoncide. It’s used to protect them from harmful bugs and germs, and helps us do the same in our bodies. Relax. Let Go. Release. Give Nature…and Receive. ? Time in Nature is essential to ground and embody the goodness Life has to offer. It is uplifts the mood, boosts the immune system, and relieves stress. We’ll sit with nature and listen. We’ll meditation, journal and give into Nature’s invitation. We’ll Forest Bath. Exchange breaths with the trees, and receive their healing.? Are you wondering about something in your Life? Or looking for answers, but haven’t had the time to sit still and let the answers come? Do you just want to feel good? Does hanging out with trees, the wind and sun sound like an amazing time to you? Interested in boosting your immune system, reducing stress, taking a deep breath, and an overall sense of well-being?
