Our lives, businesses, and communities have suffered unprecedented disruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The good news is that disruption is often the precursor to innovation. We wanted attendees to see around the corner for ways to innovate at our first virtual Disruption Summit.
With that in mind, the Chamber held its first virtual Disruption Summit on March 23, 2021. Full Sail transformed the Fortress, a first-class e-sport gaming arena, into a cutting-edge virtual events center that allowed attendees to immerse themselves in the Summit. We were very pleased to feature Mark Brewer, Central Florida Foundation President and CEO, as the Summit keynote speaker. We also heard from leaders discussing the recent disruption and innovations in the fields of Capital, Communication, Healthcare, Real Estate and Restaurants/Retail.
