    From Chamber President and CEO Betsy Gardner Eckbert, who is attending World Travel Market in London:

    Attending the City Nation Place conference today was a very validating experience. The conference focus was on benchmarking and celebrating best practices in branding and marketing. 
    What we learned was that the Chamber’s techniques on engagement – including such outreach as the Tourism Task Force – are verified key steps to success. 
    I gained insight into: 
    • How to capitalize on opportunities with Google Maps
    • How Place Brand is about policies, values and what we stand for. 
    • How we can capitalize on a clear Place Brand to support the city.
    • How we should create city ambassadors to share content and encourage people to share hashtags.
    The learning and valuable networking opportunities continue, and I feel I’ll come back to Winter Park fortified with new knowledge, direction and enthusiasm.
