Curriculum & Calendar
Leadership Winter Park is a year-long program that extends from August through April. It kicks off with an orientation retreat, followed by eight monthly day-long sessions. Graduation festivities occur at the culmination of the program in May. Participation in at least six of the eight session dates is required. View the current class schedule to learn more about the time commitment.
Scholarships
In an effort to see that more candidates have the opportunity to develop their leadership capacity and engage in the community, the Winter Park Improvement Foundation's Legacy Fund was created to provide vital scholarships for community members. Scholarship funds are raised every year by alumni and community members on the annual Day of Giving and at the Pancake Breakfast.
The three scholarships offered annually are the Barnes Small Business Scholarship, the Nonprofit Scholarship and the Opportunity Scholarship. Scholarship applications will be posted when the application for the next class opens.
