About Us

Thurston House, a Central Florida Bed and Breakfast, is peacefully located among 8 acres overlooking Lake Eulalia near Winter Park, Florida. This Queen Anne Victorian farmhouse was built in 1885 and completely restored in 1991. We offer modern room amenities and the service of a fine small hotel within a setting of a charming historic home. Thurston House has three guest rooms each with private baths, and we serve a full hot breakfast each morning. Close to restaurants, shopping, museums, and festivals, we are located within minutes from Winter Park and Rollins College, and downtown Orlando is just 10 minutes away! Disney attractions and area State Parks are less than a 30-minute drive. We have been open for 30 years and have welcomed guests from every state, 6 territories, and 37 countries so far!
