I am currently a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the state of Florida in the final stage required to be a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with the state of Florida. I earned a Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University’s CACREP accredited program. I am certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) and a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC). A former EMT, I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CTTP). In addition I hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. I currently serve on the Mental Health Counselors of Central Florida as Executive Board Secretary and a volunteer for the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI). Professional associations include Phi Kappa Phi, American Counselors Association (ACA), American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA), Florida Mental Health Counselors Association (FMHCA), and the International Association of Trauma Professionals (IATP).
