About Winter Park Day Nursery, Inc.
In 1939, Winter Park volunteers founded an independent, not-for-profit childcare center and preschool for young children of citrus packinghouse employees, Winter Park Day Nursery (WPDN). Since then, WPDN has been educating the children of working families in our community for eight decades, impacting the lives of 12,000 children. WPDN serves children from infants through age five and their families. Tuition fees are based on the federal poverty guidelines set by the Department of Health and Human Services, offering affordable rates to families of all income levels. The majority of families fall at or below 240% of the federal poverty guidelines. WPDN helps build stronger families with emergency food and clothing pantries, parenting classes and more.
