She felt the burden of vulnerable women and children and was compelled to act. At that time\, she had no idea how widespread sex trafficking was in the United States or how deep the wounds of trauma in the lives of its victims. As One Purse was serving different populations of vulnerable women and children\, a pattern emerged\, and Heather identified an underserved and unique place of need among survivors of trafficking. Today\, One Purse empowers survivors of sex trafficking to build healthy and sustainable lives.\n\n \n\nHeather has a Master of Arts in Evangelism and Leadership from Wheaton College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Human Resource Management from the University of Central Florida. She has four children and lives in Winter Park.
