Cofounders Carolina Flores and Carlos Flores, focused on the essential elements of personal branding and effective content creation strategies. They underscored the significance of crafting a magnetic personal brand online, highlighting that 74% of consumers are influenced by brand content and emphasizing the growing importance of a digital presence over traditional resumes. The session introduced the "Three C's" for brand building: Clarify, Consistency, and Credibility, and provided real-world examples of successful local clients.

Attendees learned to build trust through storytelling, showcase their expertise via educational content and testimonials, and implement practical production tips. An actionable implementation plan encouraged participants to define their 'I help' statement, select content pillars, and create a video tip. The session emphasized that confidence grows with practice and provided a pathway for participants to enhance their personal brand with specific action items to be completed post-session.

A strong digital presence is now more important than traditional resumes, according to 70% of hiring managers. Digital presence is now your first impression and first handshake. Your digital footprint should truly communicate your expertise.

Focus on these three for effective branding.

Clarity: control your narrative with a clear “I help” statement formula.

Consistency: Maintain the same messaging across all platforms.

Credibility: Establish authority in your space.

Content Creation Tips: Utilize storytelling and testimonials to build trust and showcase expertise. Show a behind-the-scenes process to demonstrate your skills. Share educational content demonstrating your expertise. Use your smartphone, focus on clean audio, good lighting and plan out your content!

Actionable Steps to Build Your Digital Brand:

1. Define:

a. Who do you help?

b. What do you help them achieve? What pain point do you solve?

c. How do you do it?

2. Choose three content pillars (educational, inspirational, origin story) that resonate with your audience.

3. Film a simple 60-second video tip and post it with intention this week. Confidence grows with practice.

 

In conclusion, your business can't be the best kept secret AND the go-to source in your industry, as Carolina pointed out during her presentation. Digital media is the best way to reach the most people. Putting yourself out into the digital landscape is the most effective way to grow your business and occupy the space of industry expert.
