The mission of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce is to develop, promote,
and sustain a vital, thriving business climate throughout the community and
to initiate support and enhance the civic, educational, economical well-being
of the area. The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce provides members with a variety
of networking opportunities throughout the year. The most well known event,
Business After Hours, is held the last Thursday of every month (with some exceptions)
at different locations. These events allow members to circulate among members
of the Chamber. The Chamber also hosts several governmental luncheons throughout
the year featuring local, state, and federal officials. These include the State
Legislative Luncheon, the Winter Park City Commission/Mayor's Luncheon, the
Education Luncheon, The Orange County Commissioners Luncheon and the Congressional
Lunchoen.
In addition to these networking events, the Chamber has a variety of annual
special events: the Annual "Taste of Winter Park," featuring over
35 food and beverage vendors, the Fall Golf Tournment, the Night Golf Tournament,
the Winter Park Auction, the Autumn Art Festival featuring over 100 Florida
Artists, the Annual Banquet, July 4th Celebration held in cooperation with the
City of Winter Park, the Political Mingle and the Ye Olde Home Town Christmas
Parade, held each year on the first Saturday in December. The Business Expo
gives members an opportunity to showcase their businesses and network with other
businesses in the community, all in one evening.
