Fall Event Season Launches with Sip, Shop & Stroll

AAB_2265On Thursday, September 15, the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce and Park Avenue Merchants Association will host the popular Winter Park Sip, Shop & Stroll, an evening of wine and hors d’oeuvres in downtown Winter Park from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Held seasonally, Sip, Shop & Stroll events allow attendees to experience local shops and restaurants at their leisure and preview the latest fashions, gift ideas and seasonal menu items.

“While the summer temperatures may be on everyone’s mind, the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce is looking forward a fun-filled fall schedule of events beginning with the Sip, Shop & Stroll,” explained Lou Nimkoff, chairman of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and partner of Brio Properties.

Nimkoff noted other signature events hosted by the Chamber this fall include the Winter Park Outlook (September 29), Winter Park Autumn Art Festival (October 8 and 9), Fashion on the Avenue (November 1 to 5) and a special edition of Sip, Shop & Stroll (November 17) to celebrate local businesses leading up to Small Business Saturday (November 26).

The Winter Park Sip, Shop & Stroll on September 15 will feature 20 local merchants, including, Alex and Ani, Arabella, Cocina 214, Cottonways, Eyes & Optics, J. McLaughlin, Luma on Park, Olde Town Brokers, Peterbrooke Chocolatier, RE/MAX Town Centre, Scout & Molly’s of Park Avenue, Small Business Counsel, The Ancient Olive, The Bistro on Park Avenue, The Grove, The Shade Store, Through the Looking Glass, Umi Japanese Restaurant and Writer’s Block Bookstore.
