Chamber Promotes Almasi to Program Director
The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the promotion of Megan Almasi to Director of Programs and Leadership. Almasi joined the organization in 2011 and has been instrumental in the launch and success of programs that strengthen the organization’s small business members. She was also a driving force behind the successful year-long celebration of Leadership Winter Park’s 25th anniversary.
“Megan always gives her full energy, intellect and positive attitude toward any project in front of her,” said Patrick Chapin, President/CEO for the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce. “She has improved many programs, created others, and is a tremendous asset to our team and our 800 members.”
Almasi will oversee Small Business Education Series and Winter Park Executive Women, two programs that provide entrepreneurial and professional development for local business executives. She will also manage leadership development programs, including Leadership Winter Park and Youth Leaders, as well as special events within these programs, such as the annual Pancake Breakfast and semi-annual Leadership Speaker Series.
Almasi is a dual graduate of Rollins College with both an undergraduate degree in English and an MBA from the prestigious Crummer Graduate School of Business. She is also a graduate of Leadership Winter Park Class XXIII.
